Big boy outfit!
Andrew & I hit the mall on Thursday, and he requested to look his best. I of course, did my best to deliver. He looks like such a big boy!! Loved my day at home with my Dooda. Sister Sloan, we love you!! Sloan is still doing AH-MAZING with Andrew. She absolutely loves him. Sloan gives him kisses when he cries- like are you serious?! How much better could she be? Happy Almost 6th Birthday, Sloany Girl!
9/11/13- A special day for many reasons!
9/11 is Poppie & Auntie Nat's bday and of course, the tragedy of 9/11. It also marks Andrew's first official roll over (15 weeks & 2 days). He did this fun & special event with Mimi & Papa. He did it again today right as I walked in the door!! YAY Dooda, I guess this means there is no more chillin unattended on the changing table or any other surface, other than the floor. Big Day!!

Andrew is not in his usual white onesie because it is his first Charger Game Day!!! Go Chargers! Happy Monday!
First NFL Sunday-9-8-13
Andrew had his first NFL Sunday. He better get used to our Sunday routine. He was such a good boy today.... I think he will love football Sundays-Nice and relaxing. We ate yummy snacks, Andrew took a 2 hours nap (YAY!), BBQ, Uncle Daniel came over for the afternoon games, Dooda watched the games with us & he played with his mat friends. The only thing missing was Andrew's Cleveland jersey- guess I need to order that asap. I plan to get him a Norv supporter jersey. We are looking forward to the Charger game tomorrow- he definitely has a jersey for this!!! Cutest face EVER!! Lounging during his 2 hour nap in Sister Sloany's room!! Love those little arms. The champ loving his Bumbo, watching the games with us! Totally inappropriate, but none the less absolutely adorable... both of my boys are too handsome. They totally look alike, right?!?! We are happy it's football season... now we just need...
Grandmother Kay Halsey turns 93!!
Happy Birthday, Great Grandma Kay Halsey!! Yesterday we headed up to Aunt Kathy & Don's beach house to celebrate Grandma. It was a great event! Andrew go to meet all the Halsey crew for the first time. He was a perfect angel. Such a champ this guy :) The whole party crew for Grandma's big day!
Palm Springs Time!
Our first getaway was Labor Day weekend. It was a great ONE nighter to Palm Springs with Andrew & Lauren. I may or may not have got teary eyed as we said our good-byes, but Andrew was in GREAT hands with Mimi & Papa. We spent the day by the pool, drinking summer cocktails & enjoying a few celebratory shots (insert FUNNN here). It was such a great time. We loved spending some quality time with each other, long overdue! Josh executed his Fantasy Football draft poolside as we awaited to here confirmation that Andrew made the team... and he did!! Insert dancing here.... SO MUCH FUN!!! What.... yes Lauren & I ate cheeseburgers for lunch, while our husbands had the lighter chicken tacos :/ WHOPPPSSS! Dinner Date at Circa 59 with the love of my life!!! Cheers to Mimi & Papa for taking great care of Dooda, so we could have a night away. Extra big props to Papa for handling the night shift with Andrew. THANK YOU! ...
