The Halsey Family

On Tuesday, Nat, Steve & Treysen headed back up to Fresno.  We kept Allie for the night & Mimi & Papa got back from their trip to Hawaii, so we had an FFD (Family Fun Day)!  We started our morning at Cantina for breakfast, attempted Sea World (WAYYYY too crowded & expensive, since all Allie wanted to do was ride the rides), then it was off to Belmont Park.  I seriously think, Allie had one heck of day- it was all about her, who wouldn't LOVE that?!?  Allie on her "acrobat" zip line course- SHE LOVED THIS PART!  The BEST $8, I have spent in a LONG TIME! The family!!   Papa was such a sport going on all the rides, except the carousel, with Allie.  Mimi rode the carousel with Al Farm.   Bummer Car time- they really nailed some other cars- love their competitive spirit! On Sunday the Farmers made a quick trip down to SD after visiting their good friends in OC.  On Monday, we had a fun filled day of all sorts of activities.  First things first, we played Bocce Ball on the front lawn, then it was off the freezing cold pool.  Luckily, their is also a jacuzzi :)  Here are some action shots of the jumps into the pool.  Treysen's face is classic!!  They had such a fun time going back & forth from pool to jacuzzi :)  After they were just about frozen, we headed back home to get ready for the day.  We went to Woodstocks pizza (Natalie loves Woodstocks) for lunch, hit some beach shops hunting for flip flops for Steve (the kids loved this part), drove downtown for some extra special popcorn, then finally made it to the bowling alley.  Treysen, Me & Andrew (32 weeks) & Al Farm Nice little side view of our bowling balls.

On March 22nd, we headed up to Reno to see the Thrasher Clan.  It was such a fun trip!  We arrived early Friday morning & were able to get in some good quality time with Mimi, Pop Pop, Russell & of course all the Thrashers.  I only have a few pictures from Friday & it is of sweet Caroline cleaning up the splashed water from Catherine's bath.  SO CUTE! I am pretty sure Uncle Josh is their favorite.... I am okay with that- NOT!  HAHA!  He can throw them in the air, have them do flips on him & put them on his shoulders, all things this pregnant lady cannot do!  He is going to be the BEST dad ever.  Andrew is one lucky boy. *I did not take many pictures on Friday night because I was saving up my clicks for Saturday & the big party..... February 8th-10th: A killer on the prowl plus a huge snow storm in Big Bear... Oh no, that won't stop us from making the trip up to Big Bear.  It took us almost 9 hours to get to Big Bear on the way up- total bummer.  It was well worth it to spend the weekend in the snow with our friends, the Ciminis & Conleys.  Josh had a blast "shredding" on Saturday & I of course stayed home & worked by the fire.  It was a good time had by all.  The dead stop traffic :/  Josh & Dom shoveling snow.... Such a helper. Dominic LOVED Josh!  I mean, who wouldn't?!?  Snow Angel time!!!  Dominic could not get enough of the snow- he LOVED it!  Heading out to "shred" the mountain.  They had a good time.  What would a visit to the snow be without a snowball fight?!?!  Mikey & Dom The boys were determined to keep this fire a blazin!!  Mission Accomplished.
