The Halsey Family

Nickname:   Dooda…. I guess it is here to stay! We love our Dooda Favorite Things:  LOVES Zany Zoo, playing on the floor with toys, eating!, swinging and relaxing at the park, Baby Bjorn (still), making all sorts of funny noises, Least Favorite Things: Loud noises & Ellie the Elephant when it is turned on Size:  My very official mommy guesstimate it 18 1/2-19 pounds. Clothes Size:   6-12 month clothes, size 3 diaper. Mommy & Daddy's Fav Moments:   His hugs, wet kisses, reaching for us… pretty much everything, except for his 4 am wake up calls. New Developments:   Sitting up all by his big boy self for as long as he deems necessary, rolling and rolling and rolling to anything he wants, babbling sounds that seem to mimic real words- hi, hey, dada, mama, laughing lots, starting to try an learn how to play peek-a-boo with his own hands, and he is getting his two bottom teeth!! **We have the happiest baby boy… now if we could only h...

The day after Christmas we "loaded up" and headed up to celebrate with Nana & Tom.  It was quite the family affair, Uncle Daniel, Bravo (the originator of "loading up"), and Auntie Jenna all made it! It was great day full of snacks, dinner, stockings, presents and family.   Andrew is chewing (shocker) on a picture of his daddy as a baby! Stocking Time! Self-timer in action again!!  Andrew is pulling Nana's hair… whoooopsies!!!   Andrew Dooda had an amazing first Christmas.  We are so lucky that he is ours!!  See you next year Christmas.  The Halseys are done with Christmas. 

After a wonderful Christmas morning, we were off to Mimi & Papa's house for more Christmas cheer! It was a present MARATHON… a legit marathon of present opening. Aunite Jenna & Uncle Daniel had never experienced such a thing.  We Carders, are used to this sort of thing :) Josh ended the marathon with a popcorn opening session!! The Grandsons…. too cute! Now this was an interesting photo session down on the bay…. sun in eyes, a nine year old, twelve year old, 7  month old & super excited adults!!  I think it turned out pretty darn cute!  Thanks, Mimi for wanting this pic!  It's a keeper! I am in LOVEEEEEE with this man.  Andrew Dooda is lucky to have him as his Daddy Dooda!  We ended out night with the Gachs back at home… we had holiday cheer, snacks, Dominos Pizza, Taboo fun, and Uber Rides!  Here is a lil group selfie, thanks to Andrew's long arm!  

Everyone made the nice list!!! YAY!!  Santa came :)    Christmas chilling with Auntie Nat & Al.   Such crazy gift givers we are!!!  Ho ho ho!!    Santa brought Sloany, her favorite toy!!!   Santa brought Allie, stilts!!  So awesome!!
