Our first family AIRPLANE Trip.... SD to Foxboro, MA.
Traveling with an almost 4 month old... WOW- way different than traveling with just us! DUH! Josh exhibited his strength and pretty much carried everything, but me & Andrew. Serious.
Andrew was a serious champ on the flight out to Boston. He slept for about 2 1/2 hours, ate a few times, and was sooo happy!! Not gonna lie, I was a little stressed about it, but of course, he was perfect!
Enough pictures, Mom, I am trying to sleep here!
So artistic! HAHA!
Our pilot, Andrew, with our Andrew Dooda!
We had so much stuff, it barely fit in the car that picked us up... whoopppsss!! We made the short 45 minute drive to Foxboro, and arrived at Steve & Rosanne's house, just in time to see Steve for a hot second before he had to be at the hotel.
We captured Andrew's first attempt at spitting (slobbering) game at Olivia... It was so sad, she would not even look at him. He was trying so hard. He was trying to grab her, drool for her, coo for her, but nothing would catch her attention. Andrew would NOT stop looking at her. Poor guy!!
Rosanne's mom, Maria, was OBSESSED with the Dooda. Notice he is in Patriots colors for game day! Andrew had a great babysitter, Krissy, while we were off to Patriots place for the game. PS- they don't start serving booze until 11 AM... can you say weird?!?!
Go Steve!!! Pats stadium was sooooo calm. Steve had a great game & we were stoked to be there to cheer him on. Rosanne is seriously a cruise director. She had 14+ people at the game. I couldn't imagine coordinating that many people.... It was such a fun day!!!
We got home from the game to this angel... fast asleep :)
There was quite the party at Steve & Rosanne's after the game... Andrew was passed around, flirted with the girls & was awesome!!
Steve had to work on Monday- BUMMER!! So we bundled up and went for a "walking" tour of Foxboro... all 4 miles of it!! LOL!!
Monday night, Krissy was back in action, so we could go to dinner & the casino. Yes, we are taking selfies in the back of the Suburban, while drinking wine out of solo cups. Can you say classy?!?!
We went to dinner at Prime, in Providence, Rhode Island. It is crazy how you cross over state lines, like it's nothing back there!! It was delicious!!
Is that lumberjack or Steve?? Rosanne is soooo lucky!! HAHA!
The casino was a blast, and of course ended in late night eating of Dunkin Donuts & Chinese food. Such a fun night.... made the next day a wee bit challenging!!
Quick Family pics, minus Sloan!!
Tuesday is Steve's day off, so we headed into Boston for lunch & a duck tour.... I was dreading the Duck Tour, but it was awesome!!! Josh was in heaven. He loves that dorky stuff!!
Tuesday night was super chill, we had take-out, watched the Voice & turned it in early!! It was a GREAT trip to visit the Gregorys & we can't wait until summer, when we get to see them again.
Fuel for the plane ride home.... Andrew was not as stellar on the way home, but we gave him a 70% on the way home. It did require about 2 1/2 hours of holding him & bouncing in the back of the plane, but that was followed up by a 2 1/2 hour nap- we will take it!!
