The Halsey Family

Sloan and Andrew continue to have such a special bond… I am obsessed with them!!!   It was the perfect Saturday.  Andrew woke up bright and EALRY (4:10 AM), I got to spend some QT with him, then we hit the town house hunting & shopping.  Stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch and Andrew LOVED it there- is that a sign we should move to Encinitas?!?!  We rounded out our Saturday with me sneaking in a nap, while the Dad of the Year took Andrew & Sloan for a walk.  So lucky to have to what we have!  Loving life- minus working, obviously!   Sloan kisses in action!!!  HAHAHAHA!!  They were almost playing peek-a-boo!    Nice hands petting Sissy Sloan!  What up, Sloan?  I love playing with you!  Oh no… Sloan, don't stop playing with me!  Thank goodness, mommy is still here to play with me!!!  

Last night we got to celebrate Nana's birthday!!  Jenna, Josh, Nana, Tom, Andrew & I went to Fidels for dinner! Happy Birthday, Nana!  Andrew was not interested in looking at the camera last nigh!!  He was perfect at dinner, even though we got home almost an hour and a half past his bedtime!   This face….. I could stare at him all day, everyday. 

I mean seriously, this bib is so fun!  I couldn't help myself… and neither can Andrew.  He loves to eat his Oatmeal before bath time & bedtime, but the bib also provides some entertainment!  The bib almost takes over and that's all he wants to chew.  I love this time every night… we are busy creating memories, that Josh & I will only remember, but that's okay!!  It tastes so good!  Sorry that I look so fancy in my bow tie bib!!    Uhhhhh…. mom, why are you taking pictures of this?!?

Andrew Broxton Halsey is getting ready to crawl (I think)…. so NOT ready for this.  I am hoping we have at least a couple more months, but this little crawl pose/stance looks promising that we will have a lil mover on our hands sooner than later. He kicks his legs from this stance, then looks so disappointed he did not move.

Sloany Girl is all about Dooda right now!  We are going to have to find a different venue for Andrew's weekly pics…. he is not as thrilled with his crib right now because he now equates it with nap time.  Naps are good, Andrew… trust me!  One day you will look back and think to yourself, Self, what the hell was I doing not taking naps?!?    I am on my way to sitting up!!  I can't believe it!!  So soon?!?!?!?!? That dimple is TO DIE FOR, right?!?!  LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!!!
