Welcome home Andrew!

May 29th was the day that Andrew got to meet his big sister, Sloany girl! I must say we missed Sloan lots while we were away.

I am pretty sure on our drive home Josh & I went through many emotions.  We were stoked to be out of the hospital, scared shitless we were going to be parents without the supervision of nurses, and more in love with this baby than we could have ever imagined.  It was the longest 3 mile drive of our lives... not to mention Josh was driving VERY cautiously/SLOW.

We had a warm welcoming home.  Mimi, Papa, Auntie Nat, Uncle Daniel & Auntie Jenna all came to welcome us home.
Our welcome home sign!  So sweet of the fam bam!

We were so excited to come home and begin the first day of the rest of our lives as a family of 4.  Andrew was amazing that first day & night.  We had to wake him up in the night to feed him... like are you serious?!?!  What baby does that?  Okay, maybe lots, but we were impressed.  We were very lucky to have Auntie Nat stay with us until Saturday morning... She help me learn to nurse the little guy, did laundry, made dinner, helped us give him his first bath, and was just moral support!  Thank you Auntie Nat for making our transition into parenthood so much easier.  xoxo
Sloan wanted to give her baby brother lots and lots of kisses... we had to politely decline her kisses on the brand new baby dooda for now.

Josh wanted to immediately start trying out all our baby gear... we started with the swing Mimi & Papa got Andrew for Christmas.  It was NOT a hit.

I was dying to go for a walk after being stuck in that hospital, so we took the golden brick (thanks Joe Thrasher for terming the stroller that) out for a spin in the neighborhood.  Andrew slept through the entire 10 minute walk.  Cheers to Baby Andrew being home, healthy & surrounded with so much love.
